Yeah. I drop by every once in a while, and they've been doing a good job keeping house. We catch up then.

Oh, it's not my family. I was lucky to be born with both trademark techniques, so I was pampered all my childhood aside from the strict upbringing.

[ Like training and stuff. ]

Others weren't as lucky... They'd be ostracized because they couldn't become a sorcerer.

[housewolf]

[He wonders if that means a good childhood? But he's also not about to bring it up.] That's good.

... Did they get disowned?

[ It’s good for him, but what’s taught it probably abnormal to others. ]

No, they’re kept around and they can become servants or decide not to live with the main family. However, I know for one clan in particular, the members will treat you like you’re nothing. Doesn’t matter if you’re a child or an adult. Tough environment to grow up in when you’re constantly belittled.

I can't imagine what it's like living like that. It's so harsh.

[mukagen]

I guess it is hard to imagine... It isn't like your typical broken household.

[ It reminds him how different they both are, along with their worlds. Hmm. ]

Is it obvious that I'm technically an only child?

[housewolf]

You're a lot more social than the ones I've lived with.

... I did watch a lot of anime and read a lot of manga. Played a lot of videogames, too.

What are your favorites?

[mukagen]

I really liked Pokemon and Digimon as a kid! Also a lot of the Shounen Jump titles.

Did you enjoy them in your childhood, too?

[housewolf]

[I'm going to pretend so hard that A3! doesn't put in fake titles.]

I love Digimon. And I read a ton of Shounen Jump. Nachi introduced me to some biker manga too.

Who's your favorite Digimon? [ This will tell him everything about Omi. ] There's a lot of niche and sport mangas, actually... I remember being obsessed with Prince of Tennis for a week.

Beelzebumon. [He had a cool motorcycle!

Also his redemption arc.] Who's yours?

Beelzebumon is really good! Had a good story, too. [ me, not remembering anything about Digimon. ] I'm very fond of the Agumon evolution line myself.

... Yeah. I moved on from things really fast as a kid.

The digimon that killed Leomon in Tamers, made Juri spiral into depression. He's doing his best to repent. ]

I had a few hobbies I stuck with.

Yeah, it is. It was the most impressionable to me, but it's probably because it's the first.

[I do a full rewatch of Tamers every three years and cry.]

Makes sense. Agumon has a cool evolution line.

Felting, crocheting, knitting, embroidery and photography.

[ Nodding! He remembers photography, though it slips his mind because he doesn't see the camera that often.

The rest though... These mom hobbies, but Omi looked like he had to take care of his family, so. He isn't going to pick at that. ]
